Pricing mechanism
Two-sided pool: Survivors earn continuous yield while the event has not triggered; Detonators position around the expected trigger time. Specifics not yet public.
Settlement
Trigger-event settlement: when the event fires, Detonators positioned near the trigger time pay out; Survivors who held through it lose their yield-bearing position. Resolution mechanism not yet specified publicly.
Strengths
- Genuinely novel mechanism: 'when, not if' with a two-sided Survivor/Detonator split doesn't currently exist in any major live PM venue in PM Atlas
- Yield bundled into the market is a behavioural hook, most PM positions are zero-yield while held
- Monad fit: sub-second finality and low fees are useful for time-precise settlement and continuous yield accrual
- Path-dependence is undertapped onchain, most onchain PMs settle on a snapshot, not a path
Weaknesses
- Pre-launch with thin public information (site is just a waitlist; no docs, no GitHub, no public team)
- Mechanism specs not published, payoff math, capital efficiency, arbitrage paths all unclear
- Monad dependency: newer L1, distribution risk if Monad adoption is slow
- Anonymous founders, hackathon-stage anonymity is normal but flag for verify-later
- Resolution mechanism unclear: time-precision resolution for subjective events is harder than it sounds
- Yield source ambiguity: where does Survivor yield come from? Detonator stake decay? Separate LP? Key question for mechanism soundness
About this mechanism
Yes/No or multi-outcome shares priced via AMM or CLOB. The largest category by platform count · the volume of onchain competition for what most people picture when they hear 'prediction market'.
